How’s The Law Of Attraction Working For You? – J. LaRosa, Marketdata

Dec. 5, 2018

I've heard a lot about the "law of attraction" the past few years. Maybe you have too. Especially when it comes to attracting money. What is it?  Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on.  It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. It involves sending out good vibrations into the Universe, which ostensibly will come back to you in good "luck", money, finding your soul mate. etc.

Now, I'm all for having positive thoughts and a positive attitude and outlook. However, the idea that one can achieve business or other success just by thinking about it and using some magical technique is a bit of a stretch for me.

Rather, I believe that financial or business success comes from hard work, perfecting your craft (whatever that may be: a teacher, sales, doctor, lawyer, musician, consultant, coach, speaker, author), and getting referrals from satisfied customers and clients. A little advertising and marketing never hurt either. That's how you become rich and "attract" money. You don't attract it, you EARN it. The Universe owes you nothing.

If you operate a weight loss center, or janitorial services, or restaurant, that doesn't advertise, good luck praying for the law of attraction to fill your facility with clients. Ain't gonna happen. Oh, by the way, it also doesn't work at casinos at the Blackjack table. I tried that already. Despite my positive thoughts, the dealer still beat the hell out of me.

It's human nature to seek shortcuts, especially to acquire wealth. We all want the easy path. Sorry to say folks, but there is no magical law of attraction or shortcut to success. Maybe you've discovered this truth too. So, stop listening to these gurus out there promising anything different in their books, seminars, DVDs, or workshops. Work hard, work smart, follow your passion, do a good job, and the money will come.
